1C Hebrew is learning all about the shofar! First, the children listened to a song about the different sounds made by the shofar. Next, the children played a game on the Smartboard where they moved the name of the correct sound onto an icon that represented the sound (for example, the word "tekiah" was moved on to one long line, as the "tekiah" is one long sound).
Afterwards, each child had the opportunity to circle the words "shofar," "shana." and "tova" on the Smartboard.
