Dear Parents,
Today I introduced the children to our "Busy Bee Journal". The children will take it in turns to bring home this journal and our class bee puppet. The purpose of this project is to encourage the children to engage in writing at home and it also enables them to share with the class something they did with the puppet. The children should write in the journal when they bring it home and they can either draw a picture or glue in a photograph. Your child can keep the bee and the journal at home for two nights and should then return the items to school for the next child to take home.
