1C Hebrew: ג

1C Hebrew is learning the letter ג!

We learned the sound that ג makes, as well as the vowel sound ּ  which sounds like a long "E" sound in English.

We practiced writing words and sounds with our new letter, as well as the letters that we have previously learned. Later, we challenged each other to create and read our own words!

We also learned the word גַב, which means "back" and did a fun smartboard activity where we matched the word גַב to pictures of the backs of the children in the Ariot classroom.
