Dear Parents,
This week 1C continued to prepare for Chanukah by making a giant Chanukiah for our bulletin board!
Each child was given a piece of oak tag. The children used candles to write Hebrew letters on their piece . The children were surprised to see that their letters did not appear. Then, they painted over the oak tag with watercolors. The children watched excitedly as the watercolors did not cover the wax and the letters that they wrote were revealed! The pieces of oak tag were put together to create a gorgeous Chanukiah!
Today we played a fun game of Twister in Hebrew. The purpose of this was to review our Hebrew color words. The children loved putting their hands and feet on the correct color as Morah Tali announced them in Hebrew!
Shabbat Shalom and stay tuned for more Chanukah fun!
