Today we celebrated the end of our unit on the letter ט by eating delicious טוסט (toast)! The children were given a choice of chocolate spread, cheese, or butter for their toast. No matter what they chose, everyone agreed that it was yummy!
Later, we participated in a Seder Tu B'Shvat. We ate different yummy foods that are part of the 7 minim, or 7 species of agricultural products that are special to Eretz Yisrael, and learned which brachot we make on them. After, we decorated flower pots and made "dirt" and "flowers" out of Oreos and Sour Sticks!
Everyone had a delicious good time!
