Today we began our study of ט"ו בשבט, or Rosh Hashana for the trees. We learned how to say the names for the different parts of a tree in Hebrew, and had fun identifying them in our new Tu B'Shvat workbooks.
Later, we continued our unit on the letter ט. Morah Tali put on a silly play about a chef (טבח) who keeps getting distracted and burning his toast (טוסט)! Afterward, we read the story by ourselves. I was so proud to hear the children reading and saying their new words excitedly and with an adorable accent!
