Dear Parents,
This week in Israel is שבוע הספר/Book Week. All over Israel, books are being sold at a discount in order to encourage Israelis to read. We are celebrating שבוע הספר in class as well! Today the children went to the school library and discovered a whole section filled with books in Hebrew! They enjoyed browsing, reading, and sharing books.
In order to continue this exciting venture, I kindly request that you please send in one or two Hebrew books with your child tomorrow. Please label the book with your child's name. Please don't worry if you don't have any Hebrew books at home, as we will have extras.
